Man! What a rush! (literally)<br />Thought HK was good for shopping. Was wrong. Didn't buy a thing.<br />Went to shenzhen and got a haircut. Now I look beautiful. The service was incredible!<br /><br />The shampoo boys really knew how to work your head. The massage they gave was so good, I nearly fell asleep! The standard of work there is better than any salon I've every been to right here at home.<br /><br />The street-side Lo Mai Kai (food) was the ultimate! Words cannot begin to describe the delectable delight I gobbled down in Shenzhen. Wow!<br /><br />Anyway, saw Tianye up the bus to the airport and I caught the KCR all the way to Guangzhou. (Yes all by myself, because I'm a big boy now.)<br /><br />Checked myself into a really grundge motel for S$20. Stayed in the Sha Mian area. Lots of souvenir shops and artsy stuff to look at. Agnes would have loved it. I'll drag her along next time.<br /><br />Loved the antique stalls in the nearby shopping area. Bought a few antique opium pipes.<br />(In case you are wondering, no I won't be smoking anything)<br /><br />Walked... and walked....and walked....... for 2 whole days. Temperature 10 - 17 degrees Celsius.<br /><br />Lost 2kg. (Great way to lose weight ladies and gents!)<br /><br />Anyway glad to be back. Can't seem to find any good handles on the subject.<br /><br />Been horrendously bugged by the tension between the historical Jesus and my theological perception (an inevitable result of a church-going tradition) of him.<br /><br />The prennial question "Who is Jesus?" has fueled violent polemics from both ends of the spectrum of study.
